Now here's a thought... what if there would be a magical option to delete your account in your personal settings?
If there's a specific reason why this isn't possible yet then i would really like to hear it.
Otherwise i think it would be very nice to be able to do this.

financial assist can be discovered from the transfer log of both players (the one that sent the money and the one that received it).
And I think that if someone has an awful lot of money you'll rather check his transfer log for cheating than from a player that has almost no money. |

So? If the char itself is deleted - transfers mean nothing. Imagine me sending you 30% of my property, then deleting the acc. You get a line in your transfer log - recieved 30k from X. Who is this X? Your friend, multi, random person leaving the game and sending you their stuff? And penalty is different in each case (if applied)

Shouldn't be abused, too. Block BOW has been forbidden on .ru recently, because too many people start a char, get it to 5th level, block it and start again. That leaves no chance for newbies, since those who have a fifth-sixth lvl 5 char are obviously better than those who make their first steps. And, in essense, it makes the 3-char-per-person rule meaningless...
You can start a new char without blocking your previous one, too :) So you didn't answer the question "Why it should be done" ;) |
