i found this game and thought it looked kinda fun. so i engaged in a battle with what was supposed to be another new player. they said they were, but they were not new. ate me alive, i had no chance. then he admitted that he was not new. so not only was he a bully but a liar to boot. anyway the expierence has soured me on this game. just my two cents maybe you should have a better way for noobs to learn the game rather then being mincemeat for players who know what they are doing. oh well i dont think ill be playing your game by other gamers. it just dont seem fair.

Well, the best way of learning is to get beaten a few times and figure out what you were doing wrong so you won't make the same mistake again, the basic tactics are easily learned, and you'll figure out more advanced strategies as you level up.
Anyway, don't let 1 player from a community of hundreds of players turn you away from this great game, not everyone is like that. Besides, there are newbiebashers in everygame, thats what the internet does too some people unfortunatly. |
Do not do PVP until you reach 3rd level*! Learn your tactics against the computer doing hunts. Also build up some money and some gear in the process. Not only will you gain valuable skills, but having your hunter level higher also makes your attack level higher.
Not sure why you thought you'd be able to walk in and do as well as people who have spent some time here, even it's only a couple of weeks.
*except just to see what it looks like. |
| Urgone, he was likely following the tutorial. In case anyone has forgotten their first few days playing, the tutorial instructs the new player to fight and win a duel against another player. |

As everyone here we began the game without any knowledge and we learned it the hard way.

Well, Cyanure, this is a game based on tactics. You understood how to use your units to their greatest advantage, and he didn't. Certainly I would expect somebody who's on their third character to beat somebody on their first, at least at such a low level.
I don't know if/how that qualifies as bullying or not, or what the solution could be. After all, in order to get your alt to a higher level, you're going to be facing newbies quite a bit, and alts are legal in this game. I suppose it would have been nice for you to say "I've played here a lot, but this is the first battle for this character", rather than say "Yep, this is the first battle for me too". I'm not judging you, mind you. |
