Description:
Increases the probability of triggering special abilities of creatures (Stun, Fear attack, etc)
Fact:
DE don't have creatures with trigering abilities.
I see only 1 explanation:
It's necesery for Sorcerer's luck, but its for magical DE with combat level 16 (and all talents choicen from "luck piece").
On .com max level in table is 12 and .ru max is 14.
Probably it will change.
But IMO magical DE = death DE, so talent is unless (like racial ability. |

a luck talent does not cost alot for an elf compared to a dark elf. just be glad that it had at least alittle use for you right now.

spell DE = death DE? how about the spell DE in NPC caravan? did their spell enough to own you? LOL
yeah, warlock luck will need that to unlock whether you like it or not.

unicorn and elven can make good use of it. i dont see how useless is it. after all, luck talent cost nothing for elf

But taking a talent that's of use to one unit (because unicorn upgrade isn't even intriduces here yet) is a waste of talent points, cheap or not. SL costs 7 points for elf - that's 7 points better spent elswhere. |
| spell DE in NPC caravan? is 100% different. i mean. they can split shrews into over 10 stacks (not exadurating) and they have 21 spell power AND about 90 mana. if i vs a real DE like that, it means this game has gone weird =p |
Another funny talent is elves' Retribution.
To get Retribution you need:
Basic offense
Anvanced offense
Battle fury
Basic leadership
Advanced leadership
Rally
Brethren commander
Rain of Arrows
Retribution
That's 87 talent points. So any elf can get Retribution as soon as he/she reaches combat level 21 :)

funny, due to the cost, elf wasnt encouraged to get morale talent. if you decide to invest those talent, ofc you have to spend more point.
so, since it is a good talent, is that mean a knight should spend 20 point on luck to get solider luck as it really can do some good with swordsmen?

The caravans you're talking about have like 21 SP on level 6. Awesome? Sure. Possible? NO. So, a Caravan_of_DE can be as awesome a spellcaster as it goes, but it doesn't mean same can be applyed to players.

That's not his (gem's) point :/ That talent is impossible to get. Not expensive in terms of points or whatnot - just impossible. Level 21? Right...
I think this is because the talent system is still "under test", like the official announcement says:
I sure hope they do something about it. Not only about 21st level talent, too. It's a well-known bug that certain elf talent combinations just don't work, yet afaik nothing has been done to fix that :/ |
