tell me your opinions, is it worth it?
it is more expensive, has 15 durability left, and has a few extra % magic shield
Do you think its worth the extra cost and less durability, or not? |
What specific items are you comparing? If you mean the armor... most of them have an initiative bonus. I would say mithril armor set for sure when it comes to Caravans, or if you are an Elf. As for the blade, go for Sword of Might... it is worth far more than the Mirthril Sword, and costs less ;D |

Only the shoes are 55/55. The others are 70/70. The shoes, however, are not much more expensive than the steel. I would take 3% init and 15% magic shield over the 2 defense. Along with a Cape of Winds, that's some nice Air magic resist. Standing next to a Unicorn helps too ;D |

I have found it to be very useful vs. Wizard, Elf and Dark Elf caravans. The Magic resist, coupled with Cape of Winds is very very useful. Instead of killing 11-13 efk with each hero's spell, they can only kill 5-6. Even less if I have a Unicorn nearby. Even a large stack of dru or anchorites can't kill more than 3 at a time. |

they have 9 cavalry and something like 15 griffins, and then they also have 30 monks with 54 hp each.... |
Make your FE monks. Cavalry shouldn't be too big of a problem; and the Griffs can die fast. Focus all your attacks on the Monks and Cavalry and you should be okay.
I haven't had that specific one yet but I think my set-up and recruit would work well for those kinds of Caravans. Look at any of my ambushes to get an idea. Though vs. Knight I usually have one stack of 4 dru blocking my bows from large creatures... specifically so they can get a good shot in if there are Griffs. |
