AuthorHunter guild points
Hi.

I was wondering... Is there a way to get more guild points, while being at the same point as a hunter?

For example, for two hunter, who killed 1000 zombies as their best hunt (we don't care about other creatures...).

If one of those hunters always ask for help, he'll get less guild points per battle, but he will also have hunted much more at this point.

If the other one has never asked for help, he will get more guild points per hunt (but obviously, he would have hunted much less).

Is there, roughly a method that would bring more guild points?

And an other thing:
When monster take to their heels, and if no one come to fight with me (well, you know, they do take at their heels, but it results as a normal hunt, alone againt a neutral group). So, in this case, in the next hunt, will their number increase, or, even without any other player, it's just a "bonus" hunt (I mean next time I'll fight exactly the same number of neutral troops).

I hope it wasn't too confused...
I admit I don't really understand your question, but I'll try to answer based on what I think you're asking.

Comparing between a "solo hunter" and a hunter who asks for assistance, they will end up with the same HG points.
This is because the increase in the number of neutral troops you have to fight is proportionate to the amount of HG points you got from your previous encounter with those same type of neutrals. So the assisted hunter gets less HG points from 1 fight, but next time the number of neutral troops don't increase as much, allowing him to fight again and earn the HG points that he had missed out on.

As far as I know, only way to get more HG points (compared to another hunter who has killed the same creeps as you) is to provide hunter's assistance. 0.1 point each time may not be much, but it may well be the only way.

Regarding the 'take to their heels' thing, I'm quite sure that if it ends up as a solo hunt, the neutral troops will still increase. Provided you win of course :P
I knew that was pretty confused... Anyway, I have the answer I was looking for; thanks for it :)

It's kinda weird that hunters who ask for assist get the same result assuming that they get more gold and potential artifacts.

It's ok for me, you can lock this topic if no one has anything to add.
After a win in a normal hunt the monster will incrase 30%, while in a assistant they increase 10% only.

Obvious the second option is better.

The first will give you 1 HG-Point and make 100 zombies to 130 zombies after one win.

The second will give you 1 HB-Point and make 100 zombies to 110 zombies and than to 121 zombies in two fights. So you need to fight more, but at the end you have much better chance to win.
It doesn't matter, whether or not you use assistance. HG-points as well as the increasing number of monsters depends on the percentage of creatures you killed yourself.

The amount of growth in case of victory is N=n*1.69^f
n = original amount in hunt
N = new amount net time
f = factions skill points that the main hunter gained during the hunt
This is more a financial question than a difficulty matter (assuming that I also like chalenges ^^). Selling hunter artifacts is a great income...

Yeah, money rules the world and moreover wiz life :)

Damn mini arts ^^

And thanks for the others replies :)
