i notice that many barbs are enchanting their weapons (bonus damage with earth/air/water magic)
is there a point in doing that considering that barbs do not use magic? |

| yes it is very useful, suppose that ur stack do 100 damage, if u have an enchanted sword let's say +7% earth magic, that means ur stack will do 100+7%, it doesn't mean 107, cause earth is magic and it is not affected by armor and ofcourse it is affected by magic resistance ... |
| so in your example lets say my stack does 200 physical damage and with the 7% earth magic the stack deals totaly 214. lets say the enemy stack has strong def and no magic resistance and the physical damage they take from my stack is 100. the total damage the enemy stack will take is 114. am i correct? |
| no when u calculate the magic added damage u aginst a no magic resistance u must take the enemy as 0 defense and calculate the full damage then the 7% and then u will add the 100 damage affected by armor. so it usually more than 107. |
