| ive been looking at the top dark elfs and can see they dont have much magic....is it best not to increase magic? what is best to do? |

Hi DivineDarkElf,
The comments above are not strictly true. If you are very tactical it is possible to go through with a might build from 1-***.
Although i recommened 1-6 you have a magic build something along the lines of:
4 Knowledge
Rest in Sp
Once you hit level 7 then you change to might build because you get rally. Use the talents Basic Leadership + Rally. This will increase your troop count making you as strong as the other factions W/O magic. This should enable you to get through to level 8 no sweat.
It takes some getting used to and some tactical moves here and there but it just takes some hard work. Once you get the hang of it you will fly. |

Lv1-2 Knowledge
Lv3-4 Spell Power
Lv5 Knowledge
If u choose this,use these artifacts:
Combat Staff
Hat of Knowledge
Cape of Spirits
then it will be
Mana:50
Spell Power:4
OR
Lv1-3 Knowledge
Lv4-5 Spell power
If u choose this,use these artifacts:
Combat Staff
Wizard Cap
Cape of Spirits
then it will be
Mana:40
Spell Power:5
