| every time i go up against a knight the archers get me before i reach them how do i beat that | you did alot of mistakes:
1 - split up your rogues to block archers.
2 - you place rogues with speed 7 in 4 sqares from archers with shooting distance 6. that's awful.
3 - your bandits are the worst shooters in game. use them melee.
there's alot more but you definitely should play at least 1 of HoMM series games offline | Hmm... Knights are hard in 1v1 so I would generally try to avoid them.
But if you want to fight them, then get your rogues to be able to reach them, then earthen spike the farmers guarding it.
Then you swoop in with the rogues and attack it but make sure to make the rogues stay after attacking (by holding down shift and attacking).
Also, use bandits as melee and send them towards the bowmen as back up.
To attack melee with bandits, use the same buttons with rogues (Shift+Attack).
Other than that, theres not much you can do.
You can try max minotaurs when you reach level 3 because they do have lot of hp and can withstand quite a bit of damage. | | I reccomend u to do hunts at lvl 1-2 as they appear faster than the ones in lvl 3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10.11.12 ( to mods .. this is offtopic but it helps ) |
