Hi,
I just faced 37 bowmen on lvl 1 Elf.
I've seen the top 3 hunters on lvl 1 Elf, and how they've beaten 37 bowmen. I did the same thing, however the bowmen started shooting on 14 FK instead of the faeries. Is this just random?

i know what you mean, i watched fights from top knight hunts and the top hunts got 2 high stacks mine got seperated, i think when the top hunts were done the computer was kind of well dumb but with them now talking the computer seems to play smart, i think it is all random and luck of the draw. |
They might have a higher faction skill level (Lets you hit higher) or full hunter arts. +20% damage to neutrals +1 min and max damage all heroes stacks, and +5% initive |
You can't wear hunter arts at level 1.
It's also impossible (without hacking) to use the elf racial ability since you need a building, which you can only build at level 3 for it.
It's probably just that you were unlucky, while the other person was. Also, maybe the stack numbers are different (your enemy can have 2 stacks to 5 stacks of the same enemy), and if the stacks are bigger, that might be why they don't attack the faeries since they might not be the biggest target. |
i have noticed that most of my thief battle r the same instead of going afyter my spawns they go after my wolves but they only do it when my spawns have 5 hp or less |
You can't wear hunter arts at level 1.
ofcourse you can wear hunter arts in lv 1.
everyone gets a hunter broadsword from their first battle, and the tutorial guy asks you to go to inventory to wear it,
if a players has enough luck, he may get a 5 part hunter set in lv 1 itself. |

What I've noticed is that there is a difference in the stack's size in hunts.
I'll give you an example.
In low numbers, the enemy hits my 3 rogue stack instead of say 13 minotaurs.
BUT if the stack has a higher count of enemies, they target the 13 minotaurs instead of the 3 rogue stack. |
You can't wear a full set at level 1. Some of the artifacts are from lvl 2, and most are from lvl 3. ;)

The targeting order is not random.
At lvl 6 DE, it seems to be :
1 - Rogues
2 - poisoners (not sure here)
3 - lizards
4 - minos
But AI doesn't like overkills.
If a shooter stack has enought power to kill off 3-4 lizard, it will target them instead of your 3 rogues stack.
You need to take advantage of this by making 'decoy stacks'. |
Since the stacks that you faced were more divided, it should be more reasonable to expect them to hit the faeries instead. But they didn't, so I can only conclude that the AI has been changed. |

It's almost the same battle, only the AI splitted up one less bowmen stacks and the player splitted one more FK.
However the AI starts shooting on the faeries, which wasnt the case here:

1. grand master bowmen
2. elven bowmen
3. shrews
4. s genies
5. genies
