Light and Nature Magic schools: Dispersion, Stoneskin, Wasp swarm, Raise dead. what is that raise dead |
Raises perished creatures of a target undead or living stack. The maximal HP of the whole stack decreases by 20% in case of undead, by 40% in case of living creatures. After being raised, the living stack becomes a walking dead with always neutral Morale, but does not acquire the properties of undead. The morale of all other living stacks of your character becomes -2. |
When your troops die, you can raise them. Theirs more with degraded health and moral, but someone else can explain :) |
so this really works on elfs? |
The morale of all other living stacks of your character becomes -2.
except creatures that are immune to morale, so undead, mechanical and elemental
So if a wizard raises his magi, then they have 18-40%=11hp and his genies get -2 morale
Because gargoyles are elemental and golems mechanical, their morale stays at 0
and if an elf raises his unicorns, they get 57-40%=34 hp
and his bowmen, elite forest keepers and sprites get -2 morale
(negative morale means a chance to "freeze in fear" so if its their turn, and they freeze in fear, they skip a turn) |

Its not that usefull, 40% loss of hp is HUGE, and -2 morale for all other stacks is also not good..
Its only usefull when its your last chance to survive for example in this battle

ok thanks a lot specially you sven |
sven91 i dont think raise dead works on mechanical and elementals so infact only undead are immune to morale penalty :) |

Yes, that is correct. Mechanical and Elemental cannot be revived
But if you raise a stack ALL OTHER stacks get -2 morale and mechanical and elemental units are immune to that
so in that way, i was saying, they are immune to the morale loss |
