| Can I know why the knight can have 17 bow, 28 sword with 10 griffin but DE just got 9 rogue, 12 mino with 6 lizard cavalry although DE has the magic arrow, thanx for help.... | | DE creatures are slightly stronger, and dark elves(in the fantasy world) put a lot of effort into magic research | | Btw, creatures of different faction shouldn't be compared by looking at its quantity, but quality. The necros will always have the highest quantity of troops, but just a few calvaries wud bring down hundreds of skele bowmens down to dust. | DE was supposedly created to be a magic faction but due to stronger then average in each tier, compensation must be made to force them to be in small number.
Strong = little troops (DE)
average = average troops
weak = alot of troops (think Necro and demons)
There has to be balance between each faction or else people just wouldnt play them at all. Of course this is like a loop, a certain faction will be good against another faction but also be weak to another faction.
But yeah, remember BALANCE is what games are hoping to do and will remain. | Yeah...
So, the short answer: To balance things out.
A bit longer: The DE's troops are "better", and has access to chaosmagic, so the Knight need more troops to make them even. At certain levels this balance is not so apparent though.
