I started as a dark elf, and I'm losing almost all my battles. Should I change factions as a starter and then go back into dark elves once I've leveled up and stuff? |
HI! I was a dark elf i was a level4 but i was in the same place as you keep losing battles ;(
But i made a new account and now im a level4 necro and i keep winning my battles!! |
No, you need to learn how to play DE.
1. Change your recruitment so you have max rogues and then bandits.
2. In battle split your bandits into stacks of 1.
3. Then use bandits to attack a unit before rogues then the rogues attack. |
@Master- I already do steps 1 and 2. I will try 3 and see if it gets better. Thanks. |
its all about getting your bandits to take the retal |

it's all about learning from battles. since you're new to this game and do not really know the strengths of other factions, you'll most likely lose in most pvp at first. after some(maybe quite a lot) battles, you'll start to get the hang of your strengths and the opponents weakness. so if you keep on changing faction, you won't be able to learn much anyway. just like the saying goes, rolling stone gathers no moss(if you know what that means.)

Yeah, understood how to play for a long time, but my problem is how to deal with the bandits, because they have less initiative that the rogues, and that's a big problem, they attack allways after the rogues, and if i wait a turn, the turn after, the ennemies can ripost again...
how do you do to attack the right way? |
I am not a dark elf but I can give idea.
for 7:
bandit is slower than rogue, but bandit is not slower than other's faction troops accept elf. So it doesn't mind if you go your rogues directly, try to make you far away from others. Rogues has high speed too. |
once you get to level 3, usually, people seldom use bandits unless you've upgraded them to poisoners..so chill..patience for 1-2 levels and you'll get better units |
