| I keep getting put into a group battle, when I click to fight from the map screen. I don't want to be placed with someone else to fight, I want to fight the battle 1 on 1. | Unfortunately, this is a feature of the game. 5% of the time, your hunt will "take to their heels" and run away and you will chase until you encounter another hunt that is occuring at the same place. You will then fight both your hunts together.
You're lucky. Most people WANT this to happen | Why would someone want it to happen?
