Since you are a dark elf, you need to be focussed on attack and initiative
Defence doesnt matter much, since they never hit your shrews (if you play well)
And SoM gives you 5 attack and 3% initiative, exactly what you need =)

you asked for cost most effective. it's what i told you. even in pvp is the best combination if you enter with minimum ap.
som (sword of might) is the easiest solution, but it's almost twice as the combination i gave and in pvp doesn't help you as much as that combination. also in some hunts, you may want your minos to resist as much as possible to protect your shrews from fast large creatures (for example). in addition, you have +1 moral which, as de, you will feel it (i know from a friend of mine who is de and he is pretty good in playing this game). |
