Upon reaching level 6, I studied through other level 6s stats and combats as usual, and found my HG is still lower than average. I rarely do gb or duel, I focus mainly on doing all the hunts already..
So how can I improve my HG without getting tons of exp and level too fast? Would Assisting help? Any tips?

| Pass on all reds and try to do only white, greens, and yellows. If you stick to those colors, you would even get more faction skill points for xp which would be an added bonus. |

my HG is still lower than average
at combat level 3 and 4 you did lots of duels and group battles
And if you want to keep improving your HG, then i would advise you to wait with the thieves guild, because you can easily get 200 000 exp in 2 weeks if you do ambushes. And thats lots of hunters points if you only do hunts ^^
and each time your HG gets a level up, you get new monsters. For example at HG 5 you get mistresses, GMB, behemoths, skeletal dragons etc etc etc.
They all start with a relatively low number, so white hunts =) |
Well, yeah when you're getting close to leveling up its kind of hard to find the easy hunts but usually there are some monsters which are lagging behind the rest.
Although it won't help much in getting a higher hunt guild at a lower level, I recommend you to get your merc guild to lvl 2 so you can get the extra point to add to spell power or knowledge. It helps more than the extra 1 attack that a hunter guild lvl gives you.
But I don't think you're doing too bad, you should be able to get hg 4 at lvl 6 then hg 5 at lvl 8 and then I think hg 6 at lvl 10 will be good. |

Hmm, you are right, already forgot about that^^, although they should not hurt too much as I'm still getting all reds? So should I got and ask for assist? And by assisting others too? Would assisting bring me extra HG or will they make me level too quickly? |

also one more interesting point to know is will the extra damages contribute to exp gain? I mean the spare damages from arrows f.ex. uneeded to kill off a stack? |
You just reached level 6, naturally your stats will be lower than the average level 6. Wait till you're halfway through level 6 then compare again. =)
Assist hunts that are easy. You will get lesser exp but still 0.1 HG point. |
Just keep on huting and help in hunt, nothing you can do to increase it faster:)
And nothing will happen if you are lower than the average:) |
