What are the cheapest arts to get AP 8
and what for AP 9 ???? | AP 8 is
SoM (for all 80 durability)-costs less overall
SoR and Def shield (for only 40 durability)-costs less per battle
AP 9 is
SoM and leather armor
SoR, def shield and leather armor
*SoM sword of might
*SoR sword of retribution | Maybe that is convenient, but definitely not the cheapest.
Cheapest for AP 8 is light axe, medal of bravery, defender shield, leather armour.
Cheapest for AP 9 is reprisal sword, medal of bravery, defender shield, leather armour. | medal of bravery
not for necro, and partly not for wizard, mostly because they have part or all troops that don't use that parameter. min AP yes, though it should at least be of use to the hero (which IMO was partly the point of the AP rule)

What you said isn't entirely wrong, but the question was what are the cheapest arts, not what are the most cost-efficient arts, and his faction isn't necro nor wizard anyway.
