A lot of people (including me in the past) have been asking for a ninja faction. Ninja wasn't mentioned in the newsletter either...
a ninja faction is a good idea and not inappropriate because 1: Ninja and similar types of warriors came from the same age as the others already in the game 2: A LOT of people really like ninjas so it would help the game in all.

these are the upgrades, studied from the upgrades of Forest keepers (Elite forest keepers), Bandits (Poisoners), and Swordsmen (Guardians).
Please, im not trying to rain on anybody elses ideas, tell us/me what other stuff there should be. Such as monster replacements, alt grades, more upgrades, etc.
P.S. A Shakkiro is a shadow being that is 10 feet tall, has four arms, a katan in each arms, and black skin. |
Racial Skill: Assassinate
Ninja stacks have small chance (depending on racial skill level) to deal double damage after building assassins guild. |

(Ninja) Dark Dojo; allows from 10 Ninja upward to be recruited.

(Assasins) Assasins Creed; allows from 9 Assasins upward to be recruited.

Castle of Warriors; allows from 8 Samurai upward to be recruited.
2,500 gold, 2 ore, 2 wood.
Temple of the Night; allows from 6 Shakkiro upward to be recruited.
4,000 gold, 5 crystals, 5 gems, 2 mercury, 2 sulfer.
Mystical Mountain; allows from 4 Lungs upward to be recruited.
20,000 gold, 10 crystals, 10 gems, 10 ore.
Storm Alter; allows from 2 DemiGods upward to be recruited.
50,000 gold, 20 ore, 20 mercury, 15 sulfer, 5 gems. |
Ninja don't get magic guilds, they get combat training places that Barbarians get.
They get +1 atk.
Any problems just speak. |
Hm interesting but there are some points to say about it:
1. Darkelves are allready something like ninja in storyline.
2. I think most people would prefere the dwarves faction, if there is a 8th faction comeing next time.
3. Samurai dislike ninjas cause they are unhonorable and fight not face to face. In this way a ninja will never become a shogun, cause shoguns are the warlords of samurai. Anyway will Samurai dislike to fight hand in hand with ninjas.
3b. And as shoguns are warlords, they wont be tier 1 units. Shoguns have got the might of a king! More like tier 6 or at least tier 5.

2. Im not sure i know ANYONE who would prefer dwarf over ninja. no offense.
3. I put ninja and samurai in the same faction because they come from the same time period and area of the world. if you have a better idea for that tier then post it.
3b. So? they're still just one person. and kings don't have actual might, they have power, people and strategic supremesy.

1. i think darkelves fufill the race of roughish faction
2i prefer dwarf over ninja, ninja is too humanish and we already have a godd human faction(knight) and a bad one(DE)
3. yeah but you dont put sworn enemys in the same faction it would be like haveing angel in demon faction.

dark elf isnt the other human faction barbarian is. dark elf is bad ELF.

| Its better if you think of SORTS of ninjas like Genin, Jounin, Oni, maybe just Shadow :P and give them all their special abilities, like Jounin could have special abilities: Sharp Edged Blade (Ignore enemy armor), Genin could have Quick Stab (Attacking only costs 0,5 pt on the ATB scale) etc. |

it is a great idea and i know my history
Ninjas work for whoever pays the highest-which is probably the king
Samurai work for the honor of whatever country they think is honorable-for game purposes it could be the king
i teach martial arts and know my Japanese/Chinese history |
correction, it is usually an EMPEROR that has ninja/samurai.
