| 17 stands for those in your inventory,2 stands for the lots on market and 0 is for rented items i think |

It is definately bidding. I just tested it out. But it could be both. Someone try leasing. |
Its more like this

Inventory: Market lots : Items you are bidding for
Bidding lots are on the right side, items on lease are not part of your inventory I think so they are not shown in those numbers, just on the left side as "items on lease". |
