do both barrier and resistance (Talents) count together? or do they overlap?

they are cumulative, so it would be (1-0.2)*(1-0.2)=.64 remaining magic power, so leaving 36% magic resistance

so crazy math aside, you get 36% magic resistance if you get both talents
