this is funny indeed, but not stupid.
AI always tries to kill most of your troops, even they can win or not. So, in this case, last devil has 10 HP, next to act is 5 gated devils (blocked), your hero, bows. He could not win, and so fireball makes most damage to your troops. |

9 bows with one direct attack as his surely last action in this fight? All I want to say is, KI wants to make most possible damage. And fireball was most damage he could make at this end. I don´t want to say, KI is intelligent, but above posted fight is not an example for non intelligent KI.

I remember ever posted at Combat Problems how a Hero of Caravan Wizards tried to kill a garg with Lightning spell ??? wow !! ^^ that is the funniest I think .. or even much more funny .. :)
The fireball is just an example of funny, yeah may be right, but that wizard is an example of Stupid AI .. ^^ |
