I have a huge respect for Vampires/counts, as they can potentially kill enormous amounts of living troops and never truly die.
In Homm my favourite army would consist of as many vamps as possible in one huge stack ;) Maybe a few dragon stacks if taking on ranged foes.
Fantasy--
This is pure fantasy but how about a vampire dragon? :D

| One of my favourites are Genies, which are quite an all-rounder troop. They cast very potent dark magic, especially poison :P Plus, they can deal some decent melee damage. Definitely one of the best in the game. |
it always seems to me as if such a question should involve which tier you'd like to compare otherwise it soon starts with: hmm titans are best ... no no black dragons pwns etc.
From the old days of HoMM3 i liked vampires best, but now it seems as if "lizzard assailants" are better. Lizzard charge is one kind of ability that becomes better the higher your and your opponents level is (e.g. more def, but still reduced to 0) and lizzard assault combined with high ini large speed shrews is just plain horrible. |

#3 if you think the farmer is the best unit in the game and have a reason then so be it.
Who cares about tier that much? Tier shouldn't come into the equation as then you would have a complicated : my fave tier1, tier2, tier3 blah blah blah nac nac nac lol.
Keep it simple, and to say titan is fair enough, but not interesting in my opinion. |

Lizard assailants or Succubi Mistresses
They are both pure pawnage.
Lizards: Simple as stated above there charge is so useful its unbelievable alongside the fact there assualt is amazing. They are simply just beautiful to watch tear things apart. When you upgrade from normal lizards you notice the difference first time you use them.
Succubi Mistresses: Ive never seen anything like these :P They are just pure amazing. One luck shoot in range or even out of range with enchantments can cause you to be full army to no army -_- Love these units can't wait to use them :P |
shrews: for proving that fashion and warfare go hand in hand!
who would have thought that scantily clad women in high heels can run around 16 tiles per move with blazing initiative, deal heavy damage and persuade the enemy to not attack back :p |

Succubi and shrews? I see a theme going on here ;)
I have a soft spot for Sprites, small and deadly with flying, broad attack, no retal, and of course you can use offense + battle fury to turn the damage up over +50%. |

| personally I love x-bows, though they are slow, but you can't ignore the damage they do ! especailly with luk and aimed shot enemy is damn dead XD |
The shrews may be the best dressed and come first, (;) lol)
But the best dancer in the game, no contest here: Elite forest keepers.
And the tattoos... that's BODY ART people, the kind of fashion that you put on once and forever :) |

hmmm... i like swordmen best. they are slow but reliable and hard to kill, their damage is decent but becomes quite good with battle fury. they often are the last troops standing...
from the point of view of style and fashion i just love upgraded monks (not available on .com - yet???). the armored holymen with heavy morningstars look awesome... |
