I wasnt talking about this particular conflict at North Korea(there is a diplomatic conflict only right now), I was trying to simplify the war mechanism, it is of course much more complicated thing. When talking about North Korea, I have never been to North Korea, so it is hard to tell if war threat is the intention of people or only their beloved dictator. As a beloved dictator, I think you should always tell your people some foreign enemy is responsible for their misery and hunger. |

so how can our world improve to be more peaceful and less conflicts?
people have been more civilized and rational and we have UN as the world's panel and judge.
besides, there have been more and more charity groups to help those in need in north korea and many other poor countries including those in civic wars. my family have supported them thru voluntary work and donation. many others also do.
with a lot of helping hands, our world should be friendlier, brighter and cleaner |

1. More resources (bigger pie) for everyone.
2. Teaching game theory to everyone so they can see it's in everyone's best interest to cooperate.
3. Removing weapons.
4. Removing hatred.
5. Removing greed.
6. Teaching love for your fellow neighbors.
For the UN, the UN can be expanded to a true world government and have some real power. |

Why do you want to teach people game theory (which studies the behaviour of egoistical agents) and then remove greed. Also removing weapons wouldn't yield an equilibrium, because if no one has a weapon each individual can improve by obtaining a weapon and oppressing others.
I think more resources means just exploitation of an other kind not of men, but of nature. |

Although people kill people and weapons themselves don't directly do it, weapons are tools to kill. Killing power ---- nukes > guns > bows > rocks.
More resources won't solve exploitation, but it would help reduce it. For example now we exploit machinery more and less on slaves and animals. |

No, it appears North Korea already learned from history. They learned how to repeat history. Nuclear research ---> billions of dolliar of aid.
