Is there a penalty if you die in assisted hunts?

AuthorIs there a penalty if you die in assisted hunts?
Hi all,

I was in an assisted hunt earlier. I was down to 1-2 stacks of my SM, and there were 1 stack x 3 units of Griffins (hunt creature) left. It was my SM's turn, and I know if I attack the Griffin, the Griffins (which has unlimited retal) will kill off my last SMs, and thus I would have been 'defeated'. But ally in hunt was still string, and he would have kill the last Griffins on the next turn. My Qs is -

1) Do I get a penalty or less skill/hunt/exp points if all my troops died, but me and my ally win the hunt?

2) Or do I actually get MORE skill/hunt/exp points since I did additional damage if I went for the last hit with my SM, even thought I would all my troops would have died?

I'm asking coz in PvPs, I noticed that even for the winning team, the one who died early almost always seems to get very little skill/exp points.

Thanks in advance.
1: you get xp and sp based on the amount of damage you deal (upto a max of 0.25 sp) even if you are defeated.

2: you get more xp and sp _only_ if you kill/damage more than your helper/hunt starter
