well right before u read the comment, u can look what people voted on that comment. u can see (for example) if it's a good advice, or just flood, or something that people don't agree with (just an extra thing to make the forum a little more "colorful" and i don't think it's hard to do. |

Thumb down. Bad idea.
If people have to actually write a reply to a topic, maybe, just maybe they would spend a little time actually reading the topic and thinking about it. The thumb up/thumb down thing would just promote a reflex reaction, and tend to create mindless flock mentality (mindless mentality? is that an oxymoron?) |
