Authorpiercing magic
I see in the help "about the game":

Piercing magic
[omissis]
Dark elves have a unique ability to inflict extra damage with magic to creatures that have magic shield, and even pierce through magic proof and immunity. Damage dealt depends on lord's Dark elf skill level.
Rate of piercing through magic resistances and immunity: 5%+7%*[Dark elf skill level].

Is it really true that DE inflicts more damage to shielded creatures? How does it really works?
And how piercing works? It reduces the magic shield or by-pass it with a chance?
It reduces the magic shield and resistance. not fully, only by 5%+7%*[Dark elf skill level]
Ok ... so if I understand well:
- DE lev 5, Piercing is 40%
- enemy creature with 40% shield, shield is considered only 24%

right?

and waht about the "extra damage" written in the description? It's just to say that it piercies through or does it actually make more damage?
so, ordinary wizard make 10 damage on magic resistance creature - DE make 15. That can be named as extra damage
it just peirces, not extra damage
