I noticed such a script on the market which outbids within a certain maximum limit in the number of gold pieces. Is it allowed such a script?

it's NOT an script. I think the system in market is the same than e-bay, i explain it with an example:
the bid starts at 1000 gold. Then, a player bids 1500, but in the market page it only showns the MINIMUM bid on it, 1050, so u cant know how much is the original and larger bid. As long as u dont bid more than 1500, it always says u have been outbidded, even if u r biddin more than the price shown in market page.
