in my understanding creature's speed means how many tiles they can move, including horizontal and vertical. but what confuse me is sometimes one diagonal moving is included and sometimes not. but if you look at this example:

only look at the last step, how come the giant with speed of 6 can move that far?
are there any basic rules regarding the moving? thanks. | | forgot to mention that similar issues happened many time, just can't figure it out. | | everything is ok, they really moved as they should. Considering your high lvl I believe you are aware of the fact, how creatures moves diagonally. just for a reminder: first diagonal step costs 2 speed, second 1 speed, third 2, fourth 1,... every odd costs 2 speed, every even step costs 1 speed. Ask Pythagoras why it is so :) |
