I am wondering about how DE's unique racial ability, magic pierce works. For example, when a DE player with DE faction lvl 5 fight with a barb player with barb faction lvl 5, does that magic casted by DE player has 100% effect on barb player, or it has 40%*(1-40%)=24% resisted?
What is more, is poison magic affected my this magic pierce?

DE racial 9 vs Barb 8 70% confusion only hit 13% :S | | Good question! Against wizard, barbs have that percentage of resistance. DE lightning on enchanted gargoyles has that percentage (not full) of damage. This is tested with a friend of mine wizard. The DE's I know they play might and not magic. But I remember I read once a thread in which a barbarian was complaining of full magic received from a DE which means it has a probability to penetrate the resistance with full power. And I was sure about the last statement (the magic has a percentage to strike with the full power), until I watched the wizard against DE and Barb. | | To TI， how come we get this 13%? 70% resist should have 30% hit. Have you also tested the damage of lightning or fire ball? |
