Author | How does AP get changed by enchanting? |
It is a question raised by a friend and I realized I have no clue.
I did a little test with a few arts (all jewelries) on hand and found some interesting numbers--
A Cape of magical power is 4 AP normally. With A7W7F7 enchant, it shows 5 AP in my inventory. But if I put it on, it shows I put on 7 AP.
Similar is the Scroll of energy, with the same A7W7F7 enchant, it shows 8 AP in the inventory but 11 AP when put on. The normal AP is 6.
Anyone knows how the AP value is calculated for the enchanted artifacts? | It does. It depends on strenght of the enchant. +0 to +6 is what I have noticed for weapons. | Well, for the Mithril longsword on the market now, with 4x10% enchant, it shows 16 AP instead of 9 for a normal one. I would believe if you put it on, the AP number will be even higher...
So the question is two folds--
1. how the AP is calculated?
2. why is it different when it is on someone or not? |
