AuthorHow does AP get changed by enchanting?
It is a question raised by a friend and I realized I have no clue.
I did a little test with a few arts (all jewelries) on hand and found some interesting numbers--
A Cape of magical power is 4 AP normally. With A7W7F7 enchant, it shows 5 AP in my inventory. But if I put it on, it shows I put on 7 AP.
Similar is the Scroll of energy, with the same A7W7F7 enchant, it shows 8 AP in the inventory but 11 AP when put on. The normal AP is 6.
Anyone knows how the AP value is calculated for the enchanted artifacts?
It does. It depends on strenght of the enchant. +0 to +6 is what I have noticed for weapons.
Well, for the Mithril longsword on the market now, with 4x10% enchant, it shows 16 AP instead of 9 for a normal one. I would believe if you put it on, the AP number will be even higher...

So the question is two folds--
1. how the AP is calculated?
2. why is it different when it is on someone or not?
