2. good enough shooter (in range its crazy)

Monk are weakest in stats, but you get lots of them, and they are shooter so it evens out.
Easily worst is hydra, though its damage and abilities are crazy, its speed and init make it useless. |

Easily worst is hydra, its speed and init make it useless.
Only people with full thief set can get a nice hit with hydra. :-) |

I, myself being a Necromancer, would say Liches for one and only reason.
Plague Shot.
Yes its nice against caravans and all.
But.
You cannot use it on Undead Creatures and when helping a living teamate, you hit your friends stack with it if you do shoot the enemy stack and theres a friendly stack beside. |
I am sure with Liches as worst because :
+ plague shoot
+ good ini. and stats
+ hit points
-big creature (easy to block) how many times u can shoot in ambush against caravan ??? i think 1 or 2 times ...
- they have no morale ! big minus
- damage is not that big outside range and against knights with guards they are usseles (same against necro units)
- speed 3 ( they just cant run away )
- maybe i forgot something

Yeah, the upgraded unicorns at .ru can... But this isn't "Best tier 5 upgrade", is it? ;)
No way hydras are the worst. What they can do in ambushes is ridiculous- I've seen ambushes that seemed to be totally lost, but one lucky hydra strike later, the entire complexion of the battle is changed. I don't think there is a tier 5 troop that can have a bigger impact on a battle (of any kind) than hydras can have on an ambush.
