To some of the posts of the "Unjustifiable Penalty. Is travelling not allowed anymore?" thread:
We (me + brother together are writing this) don't look now, due to masses of posts during the night, who wrote it where, we will just say our last words to some of the arguments that jumped into our eyes.
Accounts: "kaxyse" was my (I_own_you_all) 1st char here in this game, i sent a message to admins to block it, cuz after testing i didn't want to play a character with that name. It IS blocked, but by different reason. "grmblgrmpf" and "Kriegor" are friends accounts, normally different IPs, but we meet once a week for LAN and therefor have then same IP. "grmblgrmpf" and "Kriegor" didn't do anything wrong.
Hunt assist: If you look our logs you will see that for 6 months now none of us asked for assist, and that won't change (reasons: lower HG point gain, 2 people losing money for using arts, risk of getting an "afk-assistor"). So we don't care about you not assisting us anymore, whereas we will assist you further, cuz we like helping (i guess you all thought us to be so, due to the other thread being only about this topic :P).
Photo: We will never post a photo of us or any of our relatives/friends into the internet and we advise you not to do so aswell, reasons: obvious.
Smithing: Who to send for repair and for how much is the normal players will. My first repair i needed to be done (while 1st Survival Tourney) i sent to "china_blue99", and i think it were 10% repair for 100% cost. You should ban us two for being multi accounts please! I guess you all saw that my brother has not so much problems concerning money and for making this clear, lets have a tiny excursion out to the real world:
Any of your relatives is running a shop (selling whatever), and you need that product, but at your relatives its more expensive than in a BIG shop in town or so. But you go to him/her because the money then stays in family and is not lost to the BIG economy. He or she will never get fined for being a bit above normal price level by the police or whoever, because everyone himself can offer services at any prices (e.g. sell a roll for 100$) and everyone himself is responsible for his own business and can buy/shop whereever, whenever, whatever and whyever he wants.

There are basically 2 groups of 'family' members playing on the same IP - Those that are genuine family members and are here to have good clean fun, and those that are ermmm.. imaginary, made to abuse and cheat the game. As most of us already know, it's hard to differentiate between the genuine cases from the cheaters.
So, to make it easier and fair for everyone, the game's admins have came up with a set of rules that applies to everyone - no transfers whatsoever between family members/players playing on the same IP, no participating in combats (INCLUDING ambushes) from players on the same IP. All these are made to create an environment of fair play for the whole community and not made for any 1 individual.
Most of the game can be played and fully enjoyed without any interaction with your family members/gf/bf/close friend(s) that goes to your house to play etc.
With regards to this instance, the rules are there and said many times over in the forums, you are not allowed to be in the same combat with members of your family/friends/bf/gf playing on the same IP - NO exception, co-incidence or not. It is YOUR (every member) responsibility to ensure the possibility of even meeting in an ambush (no matter how remote) don't even occur (!).
Like I said, your may, or may not be a genuine case, but that's not the issue here. The rules are there clear as night and day --> NO participation in the same combat when playing on the same IP, regardless of circumstances.
It's like you go to another country, and this country, in your opinion, has some 'funny and ridiculous' law. But this law has been there since the country started, and it's made for the benefit of everyone in that country, not any 1 individual. You may not like the law, but if you want to stay in the country, you have 2 choices - abide by the rules, or leave the country.

You are missing the point. There is no law in real life how to spend your money. There is law against financial assistance in this game. If your relative owned a shop and you have bought a pencil, payed with 1 000 000 dollars cash from drug money(which is I believe against the law) it could cause some investigation. Same here. No character should be played for the sole purpose of helping and improving other character(thief, smith, enchanting, arts..) | For Jedi-Knight:
1. The rule with the same computer (and not IP) is implemented in the game. To make it clearer for you: you get banned automatically from the fight if you play from the same computer. And for sure that rule is not speaking about family.
2. Correct, but that is two ways. It should be apply also to those who are throwing mud on others just because they think they are right to do that. Unfortunately, there is no rule for that in this game and that's why this inquisition and witch hunt. Do you know how much a girl is sensitive to some bad words? Well, if you do, think how my girlfriend felt yesterday evening after she was called directly "idiot" by Xerfer. Think how me and my girlfriend feel about being accused all the time that we are the same person with multis. Think how I feel when I do whatever I can to help my clan (my clan members are my friends here and they are from all over the world) and to be called cheater because I want my clan to have a smith with better prices and no queue. It happened that my girlfriend to be one of the richest in my clan and to fight a lot with good arts (so she has the best arts for helping our clan smith) and for that I should be called cheater? Already from my smith some of the clan memebers had advantages of being helped to reach TG4. Is that a crime that we help each other in the clan? Isn't this thread also commenting the Empire decisions? It should be locked as well. If someone has a suggestion, he/she should write in the correct part of the game forum.
I try to keep the flame out of this thread and that's why I asked the players who look into my logs to write in Xerfer's thread from CaA if they have any complaint about how I play this game. I did the same in "Unjustifiable Penalty. Is travelling not allowed anymore?", but they ignored my request. But, I suppose that as long as a thread is kept alive and it is judging some other players, those players have the right to defend themselves. The inquisition created here is nothing else but destroying the fun of this game. I was continuously called cheater for what I have done for my clan or what my clan has done for me and I have no section to report those lies and insulting players to the Administration. All I can see is players who interpret the rules of the game however they want and start throwing mud toward the others and those others have no right/position to complain about.
I wrote in this thread because its topic is closed to my frustrations. What do you or any other player suggest? To stop writing and to admit something I am not guilty of? if that is the case, then you allow this game to destroy one of its concepts: the clan. There are many clans based on the friendship between the players and they are closed clans (they don't accept anyone, but the members' friends). Do you or anybody else here that those clans shouldn't exist in this game?
I am just asking the players who consider me a cheater: do you really want in this game only clans with a lot of players who don't help each other? If so, wasn't I right to say that this game would promote only individualists and selfish players?

Have it ever occurred to you why you and your 'gf' (and some others couples/'family members' too) are kept being áccused' while the majority of the players here are not? Could there be a reason?

Almost all clans have smiths too - binghuo, china, brilliant etc. Why aren't they accused of being a cheat? Why you? All of the above-mentioned smiths have way higher smith guild lvls than you, and they didn't depend of 1 person to 'help/support' them to get there. If, like you said, you are offering better price and services, you will have lots of customers from your clan and beyond, why is your gf alone accounting for >80-90% of your smiting service?

??? I'm going for my TG4, and I hardly use any smiths except for 1 art. Implying that using a smith may help, I can understand, but only using you as a smith, and not other smith, well, that just don't make sense.

May or may not be. But with the sheer volume of the 'help' you are getting from just 1 player, your 'gf', you should expect that accusations, gossips etc, will start sooner or later. Why are u even surprised? If you don't want the 'accusation', then depend on other players in this game, and there are 1000s of them here, then your 'gf' mainly.

Irrelevant, isn't it? The point was never that 'she' was in your clan...
And if a player have nothing in their logs for others to 'dig up', why worry about a so-called 'witch hunt'?
You know, I like playing the Twin Towers game, and sometimes, at certain time of the day, there are hardly anyone playing the game of my preference - GC, 600-3k wager. When a player starts a game like this at this time, I would jump in to play. But after playing no more than 2-3 consecutive games with him/her, I would not join even if he/she starts another, even if I have lost the previous few and wanted to take 'revenge'. You know why? Coz I dun want my logs to look 'suspicious' and gives the impression that I'm always playing with the same player. Not what I want, now what I think is right or wrong, but just a little effort, not much to expect from myself.

Also no one ever said anything about clan help. You are trying to twist it against clans. No one is against clans, we are talking about "help" from players on same network/PC. Mostly if this help is one way.
I will try not to post here anymore, because this discussion seem to have no productive value. But I wont go as far as to promise "this is my last post", because I keep my word. |
