AuthorCouldnt raise ghost because of behemot grafic
Hi, i just got a problem. played against behemots and when my ghost were killed i could not raise them because the behemot grafic didnt allowed me to rasie
here is the combat log

the behemot was standing at 2:9 an my ghost where on 2:8
That is a limitation of Raise Dead. If anyone is standing on the target, the spell fails.

nope, he meant the behemoth sprite on 2:9 (2:9 3:9 2:10 3:10) blocked the ghost sprite on 2:8, and because of that he couldnt raise the ghosts
Not it didn't. It stood on the Liches (2:8, 3:8, 2:9, 3:9). Since the liches have a larger HP, it would be the target of the Raise Dead. And since the liches were being stood on, the raise dead would fail
Takesister - first look what i wrote (or see the whole battle) and after that start writting stupid things i already know.

Straws - as you have writte it is correct. i just thought everybody will understand but as i see some people dont.
from the replay, the last time ghosts hit, behemoth retaliate, then it was the hero's turn, right after the ghost's. i think he meant that
i had never problem raise anything what was within liches area so i dont think, that this is the problem.
ah i see! takesister was right, ghost was on lich's first square (2:8), but lich was blocked

one more time, behemots where standing on 2:9 3:9 2:10 3:10 and the ghost was on 2:8. so far i played i NEVER had problem raise any unit (even with less HP) waht was within liches area.
Takesister - i can understand what are you trying to say, but i had many times at same field dead vamp and 1 ghost. when i tryied to raise many time a i had raised 1 ghost insted of vamp which hase higher HP.
please show us a battle where that has happened, cause i'm pretty sure Takesister is right..
If you was trying to raise the lager stack of ghost at the very end then I think that the 5 behemots stand on it as it move around the first time and right before it move in to kill you. they are a large creature and I think it was at 2:8 and 2:7, along with 1:8 and 1:7. It move off your ghost after your hero turn. Someone with sharper eyes can double check at that spot.



Anyways you would had raise the lich before the ghost due to the way raise work when there more than on possible thing to raise. the liches does take the 2:8 square so they would had superseded your ghost if it was for the fact that they was being step on.

P.S. attacking with your zombie without anything being there to follow up didn't help you as much as using it to block.

Maybe you have raise that vamp so many times that its max hp is now lower than that of a ghost?

Trust me, I read what you are saying. It was not the behemoths on your ghosts, but the fact that the ghost died on the same spot as the liches and that the behemoths were on the lich thatw as preventing you from raising the ghosts. I have had that happen to me before and it irritated me a lot.

let's say that liches are x and a dead lich over a dead lich is X and my ghosts are o, and an enemy is e will i be able to raise my ghosts?

Your diagram is hard to make out, but if all the liches are dead (both x and X), e only stops the right side x Lich from raising, not the left side x or either of the X liches. The liches would stop the ghost from raising since they have higher HP
