As this game is based on a real-life economic model, printing money would be silly.
Ever heard of inflation? When someone suddenly starts just making "more" money, that affects the prices. Everything else will get more and more expensive for us as players and gold will start to lose its value.
you are going a long far away from the game itself ;)
maybe it is based on a real economic system, but still stays a game, huh?
Empire can produce new gold and remove the excess when needed, and same goes for the resources and productions.
And to be perfectly honest, if you look carefully you will notice that empire *does* that quite often, when the mines are refilled with gold or the factories get bigger stockplace (has anybody noticed that some of the production facilities can now buy more than twice the amount of ressources they could a few months ago?), as well as when sometime excessive produced items just *poof* vanish in the nature (many will surely remember the closing of the reprisal sword's facility, when both stocks and money were erroneously set to 0..)
So don't worry, inflation won't hit this fictional world.. :) |
