Author | Is it true that... ? |
Hi everyone,
I propose a game for everybody. In this thread you answer with correct/incorrect or yes/no or true/false, or you put your observations about this game which are not in the official help.
Now, I will start with 2 of my observations, waiting for the players to prove them or not (please, at least try them before posting here):
1. Is it true that for the ghosts you can predict easier the pattern of the hit/miss than for the apparitions? (ghosts pattern: 2 misses + 2 full hits or 1 miss + 1 full hit, with a certain low probability to switch in between the patterns; apparition pattern: a random combination between the ghosts patterns)
2. Is it true that changing your location, your hunt and ambush patterns are changed as well? (if your hunts tend to give you the same monsters, changing your locations, the monsters are changed; at lower levels TG, if on one location/route gives you unbeatable caravans, changing the location/route gives you different caravans which can be beaten at least) |
Is it true that for the ghosts you can predict easier the pattern of the hit/miss than for the apparitions yes
if your hunts tend to give you the same monsters, changing your locations, the monsters are changed no u just get diffrent one i think it will still be the same even tho u change location but if u change location and have a hunt u will lose it |
1) No. Anyone that has fought Apparition raids or the necro Caravans with lots of Apparitions know that the pattern is the same.
2) No. Randomness still prevails
Mine:
3) It is possible to perform a miss-miss-miss-miss pattern? |
3) It is possible to perform a miss-miss-miss-miss pattern? Yes, i think.for ex: a stack of 15 ghosts got reduced to 10 after a hit, then it gets 2 miss, then the necro raises and perhaps tyhe counter is reset resulting in 2 miss again |
you can get a miss-miss-miss-miss with ghost/appa phantoms :p |
#3: 3) yes |
Ok? Problem solved? My turn.
Is it true? Is it over? Did I throw/it/a-wayyy? |
Please, I ask you again to keep this thread out of spam, flood and so on.
4. Is it true that at low luck/morale parameter, Elf troops get most of their luck at the beginning of the fight while Dark Elf troops get most of their morale at the beginning of the fight? |
#3: No, it's impossible.
The only way to "do" this would be to miss twice then have an OPPONENT cast a chaos magic spell resetting the counter.
In any other case the counter continues. EVEN after death.
This means that if you raise a ghost stack that was hit twice in a row and died, the next hit will be a miss UNLESS it's chaos magic.
4: no.
Luck and morale are random, but an elf will get MORE luck due to its racial ability and often the talents, while a dark elf has minotaurs with bravery and often morale boosting talents. As such, they're more LIABLE to do so. |
for Dreadclaw:
For (3), you are wrong and the actual answer is given by guru.
You create a phantom of a ghost/Appa. It can be <Miss due to ghost/appa miss chance>-<Miss due to ghost/appa miss chance>-<Miss due to Phantom miss chance>-<Miss due to Phantom miss chance>. |
