are you personaly offended/ disturbed by seeing those bodies ( =the dead things) on the ground? then i guess you shouldn't play this game anymore. it is about fighting, and even if it's not that graphic and explicit, it is a game where winning means to overcome ones enemies.
or are your parents concerned about you and your choice of game?
then you could explain to them that you know well the difference about harming a living being or a virtual one.
show them the other aspects of the game: the community you expirience here, learning social skills.
Bring over some friends to your home and play with them, so your parents see that it is not an "isolating" game that makes you a nerd - but an oportunity to participate with others.
Also put emphasis on the economic part of the game, explaining that it isn't just abut killing but about clever choices and understanding economic systems and structures.
Compare this game to other games. show them that chess, the queen of all games, to is about war too. and kasparov hasn't beome a murderer for slaying virtual enemies... nor did he torture animals for killing the horses... nor was he a revolutionary for putting the king out... nor was he a misogynist for slaying the queen... nor a terrorist for bringing both towers down...
...and sometimes it can also help to be extra nice to a little sister/ helping in houshold/ doing homework first... |

maybe in some country's they can't/not allowed but I'm sure they can here in Canada(unless in solitary confinement or something) |
