| my suggestion is to make a mobile mode for lwm. this is basically the same thing but you can battle and do a lot more stuff with a mobile device. this would increase the user friendlynest and bring in more people |

Indeed. It would be great, but since battles are flash based and not many (if any, I'm not really into phones, my 10 years old Siemens M35i serves me perfectly:) phones can play flash... So it's pretty impossible. Flash is a crappy unoptimized hardware hogging technology from Adobe, so it can't be easy to make acceptable flash playback on hardware as weak as mainstream smartphones' today. |
| Yeah, the flash wouldn't really fly on a mobile. It probably wouldn't be too hard to make an equivalent app for the battles and map, but it would require effort and cost money to get the relevant SDKs. I suppose the real question is how popular the various smartphones are in russia, as the effort would almost certainly come from the russian side. |
Rather than having a full fledged LWM on mobiles, u can just have ptions for Messaging, Forums, Enrolling and simple stuffs excluding fighting.
I think its better than nothing. |
its a bad idea...why? because it would be rly hard work for admins, it would take much time and how many ppl will use it, not many Im sure of it
now on mobile i can read forum, i can enroll, i can msg someone...so its all i need on my phone, there was a topic on this forum that U can play on N97 Nokia so new technology of phones can give us possibility to play game without any mobile versions of game so faster and easier is to wait for new phones with flash than making mobile version of LWM.
btw do You know any browser game that has mobile version? i dont rly |
| Many browser games work on mobiles. Even here, you can enroll, use market, forum, PM, clan stuff, repair... Pretty much anything that isn't battle or map. |
When it comes to resurrection a stack of units.... if multiple units are died on the same stack... the person should be able to pick out of which ones that died on the tile to revive..... i am getting angry when i am trying to revive a big stack and having a little nothing getting resurrecting in it`s stead.... screwing me over.
