About change in nickel price

AuthorAbout change in nickel price
It's well known for anyone, at least merchants, that nickel and steel factories in Great Capital are idle most of the time. Activity only increases when admins refill them with money (lasting a few days only).

This is for a simple reason: bad distribution of machining-production facilities.
- Steel can be sold in a few places in GC, but only Blacksmith of Reprisal is profitable (always full of money), so it gets difficult to sell it. The alternative is SH, that has at least 2 profitable places and more free posts than Reprisal.
- Nickel can only be sold, in GC, at Amulet of Luck Factory (12 posts). In East Bay, on the other hand, can be sold in many places (steel also), so people will tend to stay there.

Surprisingly admins decided to emphasize this difference between GC and EB-SH by lowering prices for Nickel in EB. What???? No explanation??? Random choice??? Forgive me if there's any rational explanation for augmenting the performance gap between production facilities in GC and EB.

If admins don't want to continue refilling facilities every few days, they should work things out a little different. Suggestions have been posted for a while, like adding production facilities for USEFUL artifacts (sword of might, dragon shield, ...), so people consume them and force merchants to buy nickel-steel, reactivating the economy.
Another suggestion is changing the price-lowering strategy to GC, making merchants to buy some of the more than 3k steel-nickel available in GC (less than 100 in SH-EB at the moment).

I understand that admins don't make major upgrades because of whatever reason, but I don't think that minor modifications like those exposed are that hard/impracticable/unfeasible/whatever-NO-reason-fitting-here.
So what are you suggesting?

Also news: Nickel factory at GC is always at work. Almost full.
I am suggesting what I already posted (did you read that?)

As I said, Nickel factory at GC is NOW (not always) at work, and only because 10 million gold where injected while there's still 3500 nickel there (6M worth). Refilling mines with money created from nothing is not a solution, is a patch or workaround. Players need to have an incentive to buy nickel in GC, and there is NONE.
1.Wrong forum
2.Yes I have read it. 95% of that post I already knew. You can post a short clear idea in right forum part.
There are already suggestions in IaS about fixing in game economy. Maybe you should be their guest and bump those threads instead.
What???? No explanation??? Random choice???

3. I have also noticed there is no need to use word admins 4 times in one post. It sound like hey, admins. All you did is wrong admins. Do it my way I tell you admins, I can do it better. There is no need for administration to explain things to everyone that asks for it. Especially if they dont ask in calm, productive way.
Omega22, the suggestions were a mere reference to what has 'already' been said, so this isn't really an IaS thread. It is about the change in price of nickel in EB, which I thought needed an explanation (yes, I could made it a bit briefer, sorry).

There's no need to take it personal. Your last post seemed a bit... bitchy? :)

My point is what annoying it is to see that when people that manage the game (see? i didn't use the word admin... oops i did it again ;P ) don't make the right choice given that there are, as you said, many suggestions about it.
don't make the right choice

I guess doing the right choice isnt so simple.:-)
Hey, and sorry, I am evil. Always looking at what to criticise, nothing personal.:-)
The solution of this is on its way.
New factories will be added shortly.
Filling up the mines was a short-term measure to start the engines.

As to price changes for resources, our hearts speak post 6 aloud.
That's what i wanted to hear :)

I'm looking forward this new changes. Thank you.
