almost every time I make an everyone for oneself game, people turn against me 3 vs 1
2 reasons :
1 my arts
i wear a full art and people team up on me cause of that. well i never join anyones everyone for oneself games i allways make my own. so why would they join the fight when they know that i have a full art set and then team up on me cause of it? it's so stupid and that's just one part of it.
2 my fighting style
when the battle starts, i write either top vs bottom or left vs right which ever one fits better (for example, if there is an elf at the top right corner and an elf at the top left corner i wouldn't say left vs right because it's not smart or interesting to have a fight between 2 same factions)
people sometimes don't agree with top vs bottom or left vs right and just play chaos. well most of the time i write in the description that i play this way and that if u don't agree with it, make ur own battle and join mine. people still join and don't follow the rules. i had a couple of high lvl heroes on ru. so im not a noob. and on ru people mostly battle like this and make their own battles if they don't like someone's playing style.
i don't get why people do this and it frustrates when people team up on 1 person in free for alls. |
1) Its kinda logical people team up against the player who is the biggest treath, everyone wants to win and if this has to happen by a 3v1 on the stronger, better arts wearing player then you're out of luck. Don't want it to happen? Well, I see 2 options; Don't create FFA battles anymore and only join when there's allready someone in it with equal or better arts. Or you could just wear lesser arts.
As for the second, who are you to decide other peoples teams in a FFA battle? Want teams, create a GB. People are free to attack who they want, when they want in a FFA hence the name Free for all. If you annoyed the other players by trying to enforce a team on them they don't want, and they decide to turn against you thats it. |
I can't speak for others, and (amazingly) I have never player a everyone for oneself game (!), so I can only speak for myself.
If I am to be in one, and I player obviously have a huge advantage over the other 3 with the arts he wears, then it's obvious I would attack him, and hope the rest follows suit. I play to win, not finish 2nd/3rd/4th. How am I gonna win if the 3 weaker players all attack each other? Call it what u want - common sense, survival instinct etc. Even animals knows how to group together against a strong predator to ensure their own survival.
If u want a 'fairer' fight, only thing I can suggest is to create/join some group battles set in Random mode/same combat level. |
You're really funny. I've met you once. You joined a clear descripted 5ap battle with full arts, tell us how many FFO battles you have made first...

| in my xperiance the players on ru mostly team up 3 on 1 and if 1 is death 2 on 1 and on .com the players are more fair but that is just my xp |

u are wrong. i have a lvl 10 char here too. on ru is more fair. left vs right or top vs bottom.

2 vs 2 games don't give as much exp and skill points as do ffa battles. plus if i afk or my partner afks then we make each other loose and that happens often.
AND most of u sound like u don't know what it means to play top vs bottom or left vs right. it's NOT a 2 vs 2 game. it's two duels for example:
player 1 player 2
player 3 player 4
top vs bottom means player 1 vs player 3 and player 2 vs 4. then when both of those fights are done, the two winners fight each other for 1st place. nice and organized. the strongest/smartest person wins if u don't like it then just like i said before, READ THE DESCRIPTION and if u don't agree with it MAKE UR OWN BATTLE. if u see that i have alot of arts then don't join so u can do 3 vs 1. make ur own min AP battle or buy arts and stop wussing |

that fight had no description at all and that's the only reason i joined. i ALLWAYS read discriptions. and just like i have written in my personal info i have wireless internet and it sucks so i afk alot. |

Perhaps people don't like that you choose top vs bottom or left vs right, because it could be at your advantage.
Generally speaking people dislike reiceiving order, and it is worst when they come from an opponent.
Maybe TvsB/LvsR should be decided before battle start (in description) and not after seeing who is top,left... allowing you to choose the weakest opponent. |

I think you are crazy, its an everyone for oneself battle they can play how they like without your intervention and if that involves ganging up on you then so be it, why should anybody play how you want them to especially if your terms tip the battle in your favour?
just because you created the battle doesnt make you a king who can make up the rules as you please |

i told u already. i choose top vs bottom abd left vs right so it wouldn't be a faction vs the same faction because it's not smart. if that happens then it's most likely that both of them will loose |

| yeh tvb or lvr is the best option, then whoever finishes their opponent first gets free choice. but rarely do you actually get 3 people in an ffa so it doesn't normally happen like that. |

A simple strategy for you to win.
1) Call a friend to join the ffa.then 2 more ppl will come
2) Now you team with 1 person and let your friend team with another.
3) Now tell your teammate to attack your friend's teammate. for eg. Ghost_face:HEY X attack Y,he is the strongest.
4) from the fight 1 will survive.
5) Now you team with your friend and kill him.
6) Now you battle with your friend
Simple either you or your friend will win |

By that, you mean, be an honorless backstabber?
I played these battles a few times, and when I had a truce with a player, I would honor the truce until both opponents are down. One time, after one opponent was defeated, the other one tried to bribe me into switching side. Ha, he tried to bribe the wrong person.
There's winning, and then there's winning in such a way that people would team up with you again. |
