AuthorCan anyone playing on .ru discuss the TG map changes?
Did the winning ratio decrease greatly?
IMO, the caravans either outnumber by shooters, such as
knights, elves and barb or outnumber by fast creatures such as DE and demons.
It becomes too much harder for factions other than DE and demons, although these two factions are facing harder situation as well.
It seems to me one can only earn a few TG points by changing to DE or demons faction and there is no way to catch those established players with more than 1000 TG points.
Why would the winning ratio decrease?
It'd broke all the tactics, in fact.But don't worry - you'll get accustomed, anyway=)
P.S.At least DE won't be cheaters in TG)
I would think that the bigger map would hurt some of the "slower" factions such as knights because it takes us that much longer to reach the enemy with our troops. At level 11 and up, cavalry give us more mobility but at level 10 and below the only unit that can hit the enemy on the first move is our griffins. That gives the enemy more time to do damage with their shooters before we can block them. I'm sure other factions will feel similar pain with this update.
Hmm, it is weird. But the numbers of creatures seem to have been raised.
i think THIS part of the update should be changed back
^^ I feel like a victim when first time ambushing caravan at new map.
Wizard's winning ratio will increase... other factions will take a rest...

come on it's not that bad :) remember being a thief is not always easy :P
you may get caught and sometimes you encounter someone too strong for you...
this happens here, except you don't go to jail :P

I usually position my guards on the left side by the enemy hero. It's something that we will all have to get used to. I'll have to wait and see until I get an ambush on the new field to be able to form a fair and accurate judgment on the matter, but something tells me that my winning percentage will suffer because of this.

I did make one mistake regarding the initial positioning of my griffs, but this new map will require a bit of a learning curve to relearn where to position my troops.

for Dark elf it became easier to fight against some big stacks of high level monsters such us Devils, Angels etc.
At the same time much more harder to fight against caravans with 4 stack of shooters in the center. Sometimes almost impossible.
There are topics about both Thieving an .ru. Pick the one you need and continue there, please.
