Authoris it fare for caravan troops to speed +1 every 10 rounds?
As the title said. There is a strong hero in each caravan troops now (in the early stage of ambush, there is no caravan hero), while their troops still get speed +1 every 10 rounds, just like neutral troops in hunt. Since ambush is like a duel of player and computer hero now. I think this setting should be changed. Please post your opinion in this thread. :)
i don't like the idea of that in caravans it frustrates me if i have a long battle
I always die before 10 rounds. =.=
In all the caravans ive played i cant remember once reaching 10 rounds winning or losing and have you seen the size of mine?

Yes, caravan troops still get speed +1 every 10 rounds.
Necro hero vs necro caravan - its not a problem to hold the caravan more than 10 turns.

Even when I was playing an elf, several elven caravans survived more than 10 turns when I tried to use hit&run strat on treefolk.
under certain conditions like no shooter, no spell and bla bla bla... yes, you can hold more than 10 rounds.

in general case, just a common sense, do you ever think you can survive more than 10 turn with those superb spell dmg, outnumbered shooter, massive fast unit?

come on, dont always judge something with a fixed situation. you wont always face the same and similar caravan, will you?

for me, +1 speed or not doesnt matter. thieves should just chop caravan down asap before they chop you down.
+1 speed or not is important for de/elf/wizard/demon. for knight it is not so important. :)
The way I see it, its important part of game balance. Example sprites/shrews vs. meat-based necro/barbarian caravan.
It is possible. It happened to me usualy when facing necro caravans. When you barricade yourself in a corner and only some enemy troops can reach you the battle might go over 10 rounds.
Also when you ambush thief caravans the speed gos up after 10 turns.

I couple times survived more than 10 turns in old times.
sometimes you have a few big stacks of ogres left.
But in most cases, you wont reach 10 turns.
