Authorrapid/delay

in this battle i cast a +40% rapid then the genie cast a -30% delay, but for some reason my net initiative gain was -0.2
8,7*1,40*0,70* = 8,526 = 8,5

1,40 = initiative + 40%
0,70 = initiative -30%
well thats annoying, why not make it:
[8.7 + (8.7*1.4 - 8.7) + (8.7*0.7 - 8.7)]

jah it's longer but it works


also is it the same formula for bless and curse?
3) Introduced Overlay system for spells of Holy and Darkness schools of magic, antagonistic to each other. Thus, Rapid and Delay, Bless and Curse, Chastise and Weakness do not replace each other, but co-exist as long as both effects are in action.
The Overlay effect for each group of spells is as follows.

Rapid vs. Delay:
[Final initiative] = [initiative] * (100% + [Rapid effect]) * (100% - [Delay effect]);

Bless vs. Curse:
-If [Bless effect] > [Curse effect], then [Final min.damage] = [min.damage] + ([max.damage] - [min.damage]) * ([Bless effect] - [Curse effect]);
-If [Curse effect] > [Bless effect], then [Final max.damage] = [max.damage] - ([max.damage] – [min.damage]) * ([Curse effect] – [Bless effect];

Chastise vs. Weakness:
[Final attack] = [attack] + [Chastise effect] – [Weakness effect].

Dark spells, resist by magic proof and magic immunity. Delay, mind-affecting spells are immune by some units, also they can be dispelled (holy magic).

While holy spells can only be resisted by magic immunity. (which ability is only possessed by very few units)

So this is just an incentive for practicer of dark spells IMO.
