Author | show your hand! |
Many of us have played and/or play regularly card matches.
I don't know you, but myself, i feel sometime a little frustrated when a game ends juste one move before i win..^^" and i guess the opponents feels the same when i win on the razorblade.
Was it luck, or did I win because i had a good logic in that last hand?
Did the opponent have something to beat me?
Or would any of my choices yeld the same result?
Was it bluff, or not?
All these questions, trivial ones, true, but still sometime asked, might be easily answerer if at the end of the match the cards in both players hand were shown on the table..
so this is my suggestion for the day :) | it would be better if you could choose if you want to show your hand or not ;) | #2
unless you are talking about pride, i see no reason for refusing to show one's hand, since it has no influence whatsoever on the following games.. | #3
Actually it would affect future games. Let's say we regularly play together, then after every game you see that I'm bluffing you or you see my strategy from the cards I hold onto. | #4 you might have noticed that in a finite game (that is, one deck ones) you can always more or less find out what cards your usual opponent keeps by a little observation of what you see passing through the cycles of the deck.
When you see a switch wall that doesn't come for 30 minutes, you do know where it is..
So much for regulars. Maybe it could indeed help agains occasional opponents, but then again, i think luck is a major partner in victory, so don't think it would make much difference. | its luck... |
