Old idea but still desperately needed. A guild for doing player vs players.
.5 guild experience for duels
1 guild experience for 2 v 2
3 guild experience for 3 v 3
5 guild experience for random
10 guild experience for everyone for oneself
These of course the experience for those who win not who lose.
As for the experience to level and rewards for I think.
pvp guild 1 100 experience no reward
pvp guild 2 200 experience no reward
pvp guild 3 300experience 1 primary parameter awarded
pvp guild 4 1200 experience no reward
pvp guild 5 2400 experience no reward
pvp guild 6 4800 experience 1 primary parameter awarded
pvp guild 7 9600 experience no reward
pvp guild 8 19,200 experience no reward
pvp guild 9 38,400 experience 2 primary parameter awarded
The amount of experience doubles every time and only gives a maximum of 4 stats and very rarely gives however it does provide a award for pvp in the long term. Not rewarding the short term. The biggest flaws with this idea is people taking advantage of lesser levels so their would need to be a system to make it so only even battles reward the pvp guild experience. |
Last year playing on .ru seen a lot of these ideas. This pleasantly surprised by its well conceived. I would like to add that random battles should be among the players the same level. A game "at will" better not taken into account. |

Only some tuning out against level 9 vs level 5 battles(or other of that kind). They are not pvp battles anyway. Maybe it should only work for the players of same levels and equal numbers. |

How about making a new battle type, Gladiator, which always uses a fair setup (perhaps random teams/same combat level), which would be the one that gives Gladiators' Guild points?
There could also possibly be a higher AP requirement added to those battles, to encourage usage of full arts (else difference in AP might make it unfair). A cap on max AP might also work, but I can't see the admins adding something like that. |

The problem with that is then you don't have all types of player vs player combat encouraged. Also gaining something other then fsp/exp already encourage AP. I think on battles in general we need an AP feature in the creation of duels and battles rather then posting min ap in description etc it should be built in. |
Well, the risk is encouraging players to stage them with min AP to save gold. |

Good point -- what if the PvP guild points were relative to AP, just like XP/FSP is already? Then people would have incentive to wear arts! |
Well I think first and foremost we need to remember this is a game. Also that limiting others playing styles needs to not be included in every decision. As such we need to remember that how people have fun is up to them.And fighting in pvp in min AP is not a crime or against the rules. I ambush and hunt in minimum AP and mercenary guild in minimum AP. But if people choose to do these battles in minimum AP they will lose as much as they gain.

Reduces chance of winning for many factions but especially for magic users.

It's a good way to make people do more PvP. |
+1 but some people will use their multi and will make unfair battles. |
It is already illegal to stage battles, so people know that they are not allowed to do it, or else they get blocked. |
I like the idea ... but I would change the rewards:
2nd level: +1 atk
4th level: +1 def
6th level: +1 morale
8th level: +2% ini
9th level: +1 luck |
This is a good idea in my opinion |
I suggest it should only give attack, defence and/or initiative, otherwise people wont buy arts or use talents for luck/morale. |
