Well, i'm stuck in a battle right now. I have a great suggestion. why not turn off battles, when things are being done. For the lords that live in poverty (other acc) losing a duration on an easy battle that should give 175 kind of stinks. Especially when the art is about to break and need the money to repair it. I dont care what is done, but something NEEDS to be done.
Or how about a notice saying " server maintnence from x-y", or "battle @ own risk server updates". This is a careless problem that can be avoided by giving proper warning. |

| i suggested this last week, when stuff was all screwed up for several hours. even if a crash is unintentional they just leave the game running and don't tell anyone about the problems. I wonder if some mod will close all bug threads and tell us "problem solved" hours before anything is actually fixxed the way they did last week. |
yes i have. However, i cant see how something that isn't even working at maximum capacity would crash just out of the blue. Unless they are doing something. I know my computer just doesnt shut down on me unless i have like 12 million windows on it.
I'm more irked at the fact that nothing is done to prevent this from happening. And it is happening frequently. And nothing is done to compensate those that will get penalized (afk)/ or loose money. |

Running in circles screaming, "do something, do something" is helping in a lot of situations, but it seems I cant think of any..

bloodmoon clearly stated in his first post what he believes should be done (how about a notice saying " server maintnence from x-y", or "battle @ own risk server updates")

There has been already a suggestion about official notifications during server maintances. There has been already few official notifications ABOUT server maintance. This is just not a scheduled maintance, its a crash. You cannot predict unexpected difficulties, right?
There are more things not working at the moment than you can see.

I dont know, have you tried having a server with 1600 users on it? I didnt, I bet there is more to go wrong when the things are more complex. Also, my computer crushes out of the blue once in a while..

When we are at discussion, I dont really know, maybe you do. Can you always fix something that is off-line when you dont know what is wrong? It was off-line apparently for a while but it didnt help. Perhaps keeping the server on is needed to find the solution. But once again, I dont really know how programming on this level works..
I only know when I fix something at home and try to pass the sollution to my friends, there is always something that goes wrong again. |
| that is the thing however. If it does need to be online, give me a notice, and i will understand (I dont mind blowing a few 10k on roulette while i w8). Or say " something is wrong working on solution". I know things happen, but if it was off line of a while, tell us. And now, is it safe for battles again or will i get stuck. These are the simple messages that i would like so i know i can/ cant battle for now. There is no communication between the users and admins. |

Thats the sad truth right now. There could be a little more of that "Guys, give us a minute, we are fixing the flushing.."...But thats nothing new, right?
In the meantime, I can fill in for them: "Guys, dont battle, dont bet on card games, go watch a movie, things are pretty bad and need fixing." The problems are being solved, although silently. |
