From what I can tell the large consequence of this update will be that everyone is going to be leveling much quicker then past players. The positive of this we will see more people at level 14. The large negative of this is they will inevitably be weaker then the players who got their before hand on initial arrival because less fsp is possible to gain what they gained. On top of this most likely we will see lower labor guilds at higher level then before due to the workaholic rule. Unless some players grind to a halt clinging to every battle for every 10 hours.

I think the real loss here is not being able to appreciate the levels on the rise up as much as the older players got to. Honestly I don't like being at the top because wheres the fun in that the journey is what I live for and it just feels like I am climbing a bit to fast.
1. You are no where near the top.
2. If the effect you are referring to is the TG 2x exp change, then this change isn't dramatic enough to cause the problems you are referring to.
3. Additional exp may in fact help players who are stuck in HG and MG. As easier time in leveling means higher level to do HG and MG.
4. The workacoholic rule really only affects workacoholics and high level players who have trouble consistently winning.
It is true, just take ambush for example.
Before updates it was possible to get around 1.2 fsp per battle.
After updates, well, not as much for higher xp
the over all issue really with any updates is this... players who were hard core and pushed to the top the old way dont want new changes that allow newer players to advance faster and generally put up big negative front for changes that let newer players level up or get gold faster ..


on the other hand it does mean that more players will reach higher levels and be able to afford arts too so you will have alot more high level group battles and more folks to help in high level hunts..
further more players that had to spend say 6 months getting to somthing like level 8 are now seeing players get to level 8 in about half that time so some resentment is seen
Reaching level faster can also means less money, lower laborer guild, and thats very bad for new players.
This rule not really make player leveling faster but it make player to play as a lord of WAR and money, not only lord of money.
7, i'll tell you a secret :} enrolling/workaholing/code-typing has only a small role in the true playing of lords of money. and there's zero fun either.

Players who know how to play this game well, don't want to level up fast(at least until they have decent LG, MG, HG for their combat level).

Looking at you (CL9) with HG4, LG3, TG2, and MG2, I can see that you are players who like to level up fast. You will have problem in the future if you are not slowing down now. There are many players with combat level 8 and LG5.
@9 can you explain better what kind of problem will have players like Gargoyrex that likes to advance fast?
I will explain it to you, OndaNera:

the progress of your character in due to the guild progress itself. Levelling up fast (doing only gb, for example) means that all the guilds level will be lower than normal. When I say normal, i mean that a level 10 players, for example, has to have at least labour guild 5, mercenary guild 3/4, thief guild 4, hunter guild 5 or more. This would be a good character. Guild bonuses (which are obtained only with looot of time dedicated to them) will make the difference in the clash against other characters and.. in the wars.
Levelling up fast steal you the possibility to fight with the better set for your char.

Feel free to compare his LG, MG, HG, and TG with some players at his combat level.

Keep in mind :

Higher LG : +Defense
Higher HG : +Attack
Higher TG : +Initiative
Higher MG : +Primary skill

If he fight against ordinary level 9 players with LG5,HG5.. he already has disadvantage of -1 Attack and -1 Defense.

My typical day, then, fits with what you say:

- enroll
- hunt
- thief (until loose)
- mercenary
- repeat ;)
(all at min AP)

Even so, I see that my LG level is not that high.

I do GB maybe twice a week.

The point, as said in other posts, is that GB are only good for XP (if you win) but nothing else, that's why there should be some sort of additional reward if adms want us to play more GB (maybe, the clans war???).
No more TGI renting means a lot harder/a lot less xp for new players throughout lvl 6-till they can afford (if they ever can) to buy a TGI. Once passed lvl 8, TGI is the main source of xp for most players but with relativly cheap acces to thief guild gone, a lot less thieves and thus a lot less players who'll gain acces to that source of big xp, thus slower lvl'ing
100 000 exp more or less, after level 8 you wont notice the difference anymore.
That slow vs fast level up thing only affects the low level people.

For example;
if you have 3500 enrolls (the fast levelers) or 7000 enrolls (the slow levelers) does NOT make any difference at all for the stats you have. Just the amount of gold you earned.
Honestly my biggest pet peeve with all the exp is that it should be possible to gain 100 fsp per 100,000 exp. And that is not possible in either pvp or pve. And I think it should be. Second of all extra exp does weaken your character. First thing I heard as a new player was don't duel or do group battles it leaves you weaker. I find that stays the case until level 14(max level). Honestly as far as pvp is concerned I wouldd love an option to pvp with no gain or loss rather then pvp with gain because with gain comes loss in my mind. If you cannot ambush you have to group battle or else it will take you a long time. But if you can ambush you breeze through levels. But that still doesn't change the fact that for everyone the ratios of experience to fsp to guilds has been worsened. Weakening all of us on a whole.
