some people here get all ecstatic when it comes to the hydra. i allways wondered about the origin of that "kult" around hydra. i guessed it would probably be a .ru-thingie and didn't bother to much....
now yesterday i went to a completely different page on the internet, one that has nothing to do directly* with LoWM: and lo! there was exactly the same talk on hydra!
can someone tell me the origin of hat veneration?
and please: give valid answers, not just the usual spamming about how great you-know-who is...

*the page i visited has indirectly to do with LoWM - it was a HoMM-site. | sorry for double posting but:the origin of hat veneration should obviously be That veneration
