| Does Cape of arcane protection have any effect on darkness magic? It says it gives 15% magic proof, so how does it work against spells that don't deal direct damage? I'm specially interested in how does it work against disruption ray. |
| It doesn't resist darkness magic effects, and I'm not sure how was it initially intended. |
the only way to avoid disruption spell effect seems to be wizard's magical mirror talent.
All other protections don't make any difference against this particular spell - note that this is one of the few where SP makes no difference whatsoever and it cannot be dispersed. Basicly, once you had it cast on you you'll have to live with ^^' |

Actually, Magic proof is supposed to resist Disruption ray effect too. And the fact that Barbarian's and Unicorn's Magic proof do resist it. |
