Nickel crisis?

AuthorNickel crisis?
By the way, I dont like how admins do (restock all the factories without any announcement they could post like ( we are expecting in 10 days caravans with 1000 nickel from kingdom Far Far away. then those who bought out all to make profit will be able to sell.

Also this type of interaction in economy is bad for players who are trying to make profit (this still is game about war and money, so why they changing all the economy rules all the time?)

as I see:
no limit in working place in factories: it will lead to shortage for specific resources, so players will have to start working in mines, and in Long term the available working places in factories and machining will be limited by basic resources.
That will lead to constant resources re-selling with average price determined by supply/demand.

Also then must be an option to work in specific factory and receive produced goods.

oh... i dont really care if player making gold in an ethical way. making gold by sacrifice other or suffering other? in this case, i prefer admin can control the economy.

limited freedom is necessary; but too much freedom will get you into trouble.
for Pang:

If you look on the problem from other view of point:
You can work in facility getting wage: ~175 (mines) ~180 (machining) ~ 205 (factory)
this is unfair to ppl who are working in mines? (will you agree?) But if they can work at this rate (175) and gain resources after shifts (at selling price in facility) then i think it is just reasonable if they will sell Crystal on market for 400 gp/ (cos to produce it need 2 hrs) (now they just receive for 2 hr work only ~ 350 gp. and players who work in factory for the same 2 hrs work will get 410 gp. is it fair)? So do not tell me what is fair and what not.

In so many games to make something you need to go there and make that, then go to different place and make something else. I dont know why they did not make such algorithm. Then all the prices will be dictated by supply/demand (the limitation of "freedom" will be made by productivity in specific facility, and that will limit everything)
i m more mention on the monopoly action. enroll on different facilities wasnt my point in this thread.

from the previous cases, monopoly wont last long. the longer it had, the worse it hit the economy. ofc, admin will have to come out and blast those economy bubble ;p

so, the only matter is how fast can those monopolizers sell their resources before admin take action.
We are heading into a small ore crisis as well it seems. Actually I think it is more a manpower crisis, due to the new factories there are not enough players to enroll to satisfy the whole demand.
Nickel factories have now 30 posts each (21 before)
EDIT

30 posts at Great Capital
36 posts at East Bay
for Pablorenzo:

Still not enough.
We need 122 nickel production workplaces. My calculations are here: https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1873671
at last we see some sensible approach. increasing the workplaces instead of just stuffing the factory with nickel out of nowhere (read: from somebody's keyboard)
99 posts now.
Almost there...
Yes I agree. It is a much better way to solve the issue once and for all.
Yea new Nickel factory....

u find out where...

Your calculations are flawed, and unsupported by data. There isn't a single factory that has gold but unfilled positions due to shortage of nickel. Ridge of Hope doesn't count, because nickel is sold at a loss there, so no one wants to sell unless necessary.
