What we afraid is finally come to real...
The same is with chain helmet factory
Both nickel works in east bay and great capital are out of resources as well. Admins need to refill the factories and the mines or else the factories will quickly run out of these arts and the market prices will skyrocket.
Eh, we'll need to use another shield just for then, lol.
But it sure needs a fix.
Defender shield is a good shield...without that shield i cant think of any other better shield(forlvl 1-6)
there are 873 shields in stock....
Not really a problem so far.
Admins just need to increase the tax on the market to 5% instead of 1%.
Those noobs keep buying and reselling......

With that tax no one would sell anything on the market. 1% is big enough!
If admins will increase the tax then those "noobs" will increase the sell price, that's all
has any1 calculated total nikel output per hour ? My guess (lazy to do math) its less then total demand after new factories introduced, hence we have a nikel shortage.

You assume that given enough nickel all these facilities would use all their workplaces, which is in fact not the case. Most facilities just use a part because they don't have enough gold to pay worker and ressources.

They don't have enough workers not only because they don't have gold, but also because they don't have enough nickel for enrollment.

These aren't full because of nickel shortage, not because of low balance.
They don't have enough workers not only because they don't have gold, but also because they don't have enough nickel for enrollment.

And they don't have nickel, because they don't have gold, even if I wanted to sell them nickel I couldn't.

That's why I didn't had to correct them, exception is Workshop of power which has some money right now, but even with enough nickel the demand is not big enough to permanently sustain 15 workplaces, I think not even 2.

Plus according to your calculation the nickel is not even suficient to supply the old facilities.

Gold shortage is the matter of overproduction - many facilities produce goods that aren't very popular among players.

I think that some sort of self-correcting system would be good improvement.

For example, like this:

1) If a facility is full 80% of time or more, the number of workplaces in it increases by 1.
2) If a facility is not full 20% of time or less, the number of workplaces in it decreases by 1.
3) The number of workplaces cannot be lower than 3 (we should have some minimum production anyway).
4) Steps 1 and 2 are checked every 3 days or every week.

Now we can buy sulfur to create a spot to enroll.
If they implent that, we will have 999999 spots at the sulfur dune, and after a weeks their balance will be 0.

And if the balance becomes 0, enrollment stops and the number of places decreases back, while the stockpiles of resources are sold gradually.
