Wrong. One can ask for assistance after HG 2. It WAS possible to get HG 2 before level 3 earlier. Not sure if it's possible now. |

| Only do hunts, no group battles (or duels). Assist in hunt (once you can do that). And it seems losing is the best way to gain fsp for less exp (although easy hunts give best fsp for exp). |
